Glass interleaving powders

KSL interleaving powders are used in various areas of the glass industry. Each process has different requirements for the powder to be used.

All KSL powders are tailored to the respective glass application and are characterized by a very narrow particle size distribution.

The powders can be applied economically on the respective glass surfaces with minimal application systems, offer best protection during the individual process steps and always enable easy separation of the glass panes.

eskal

Main area of application: Glass bending process (laminated safety glass, e.g. windscreens, sunroofs, etc.) – made from natural calcium carbonate – temperature-resistant.

eseco / esplas

Main area of application: storage and transport of float glass – based on regrowing raw materials or recycled plastics – optional: protection against glass corrosion possible.

esstar plus

Main area of application for particularly sensitive surfaces, e.g. for coated glass or mirrors – made from native starch – round and soft grain.

Applications of KSL interleavants for glass

KSL powders are used as separating agents and spacers in the following processes:

All KSL interleaving powders are optimized for the respective glass application and are characterized by a very narrow particle size distribution. The powders are applied on the glass surface with minimal application systems and prevent surface adhesion, which is generally known as the glass plate effect.
