It is important for the bending of LSG-panes for the automotive industry that the panes do not have any optical failures after the lamination process. For this reason the panes which are designated for bending as pairs or as multilayer get oncemore soften in the bending oven at temperatures between 500°C and 650°C.

For this bending process, a specific interleaving powder is applied to avoid that the panes stick together and to enable the separating of the sheets again after bending.

It is important to use a product which supports an almost regular distance between the single sheets. The powder should be free of coarse particles as such would result in (interfering) lenses.

Our interleaving powder series eskal – based on the temperature resistant calicum carbonate – is established worldwide as standard.

The powders of the series eskal have an excellent particle size distribution and fluidity. The particles adhere reliably on the glass surface and can be washed-off without any problems after the bending process.

Especially in the dry application with EPS-Application systems, our powder eskal has proven itsself. But it is suitable for wet application as well.

Due to an extremely narrow particle size distribution (fine and coarse particles are almost eleminated) an regular distance between the complete glass surface is ensured. This reduces the failure rate because of optical failures.
